Oberlin, Ohio – Brad and Laura Steer, parents of baseball player Zachary Steer ’19, invite all alumni and parents to a Heisman Club Happy Hour event on Thursday, January 17 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Boston College Club.

Headlining the evening as a guest speaker is Harvard University Head Baseball Coach Bill Decker whose son, Kyle ’16, played baseball at Oberlin and helped the Yeomen win the 2015 North Coast Athletic Conference Championship. Now in his seventh season at the helm of the Crimson, Decker will share his experience as a parent of a student-athlete at Oberlin and speak upon how athletics compliments academics at a high-academic institution.

Those in attendance will be treated to drinks, appetizers, and giveaways. To register for the event, please click here.
